Xiaomi was expected to release its Redmi Pro 2 smartphone last month but the company missed its schedule. The smartphone has been leaked several times previously and now a fresh leak hints the pricing details about the upcoming mobile. If the new leak is believed, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will be available in two variants and its prices will start at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 15,000) and will range to CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 17,000).
XiaomiToday has published a report to light up the pricing of the device. The latest leak revealed that the Redmi Pro 2 will have two variants- 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage and a 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage model. The previous leaks suggested that the Redmi Pro 2 will come with a MediaTek Helio P25 processor installed on it and will feature an OLED display. Moreover, the handset is likely to have two 12MP cameras on the rear panel. It will have a 4500mAh battery to juice up the device.

Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2: Specifications
In case you are unaware, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 succeed the Redmi Pro smartphone which was launched last year in China. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) OLED display and is available in two variants. The company has equipped MediaTek Helio X20 processor in the lesser variant, whereas the top-end variant packs MediaTek deca-core Helio X25 processor clocked at 2.5GHz.
Moreover, there are two RAM variants and three storage variants for the Xiaomi Redmi Pro smartphone. The smartphone powered by Helio X20 offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. On the other hand, the Helio X25 variant has an option for 3GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB of storage. All these variants have microSD card slot via hybrid configuration. It is a 4G VoLTE-ready device with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and MIUI 7 on top.
Presently, there is no specific detail about the release date of the upcoming Redmi Pro 2 handset. It is noteworthy that Xiaomi will be launching its flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 6 on April 19 in China where it might announce the Redmi Pro 2 as well. It is obvious that the company will first launch the Redmi Pro 2 smartphone in China and later on release it in global market including India.
