The Vivo V5s is one of the most popular selfie smartphones in India you can buy in present situation. The phone is admired for its 20MP selfie shooter that comes with advanced features. It was originally launched at Rs 18,990 and is now available at Rs 15,990.
To recall, the company had previously made a price cut of Rs 1,000 back in July this year which bring down the price at Rs 17,990. However, the new price cut is believed to be the attempt in Vivo to get closer to the sub-Rs 15,000 smartphone market in India. In the sub-Rs 15,000 segment, the Chinese mobile makers like Xiaomi and Oppo are dominating the market.
Recently, a new phone called Xiaomi Mi A1 has received official price cut and is now available at Rs 13,999. So, the price cut-war to allure customers is becoming a preferred strategy among the mobile makers.
Currently, the Vivo V5s is listed at Rs 17,990 on Flipkart; however, the listing is expected to be updated soon with the revised price tag. The information of the revised pricing was first shared by a Vivo Mobiles retailer, Mahesh Telecom. Also, a Gadget360 report has mentioned that they have confirmed the new pricing of the Vivo V5s with a representative in Vivo India.
