The year 2017 is going to be a great year for the fans of smartphones and technology. The next few months have lineup-ed some exciting new launches from giants like HTC, Nokia, and OnePlus. Let’s begin the list of top upcoming mobile phones that are launching in next two months.
OnePlus 5
The OnePlus 5 is expected to get released in the second half of this year. Moreover, the price of the upcoming mobile is likely to be under $500 (roughly Rs 32,000). It will be made available in Gold, Grey and Black colour options. The OnePlus 5 is supposed to feature a design similar to the OnePlus 3T smartphone. However, the OnePlus 5 is believed to ditch the antenna lines at the rear panel.
OnePlus 5 is also rumoured to sport a dual rear camera setup. It is expected to have a QHD display, 8GB of RAM, Snapdragon 835 chipset, Adreno 540 GPU, internal storage option of up to 256GB, and 3000mAh battery.
HTC U11
HTC is about to unveil its HTC U11 smartphone on May 16. It is said to feature ‘Edge Sense’. With this new feature, the users will be able to open a browser, camera app or other select functions via a touch sensitive outer frame.
Coming to the specifications, the device is rumoured to boast a Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will have a 5.5-inch QHD display, a 12MP camera, 3.5mm audio jack, and has a 3000mAh battery.
Nokia 6, 5 and 3
Nokia’s Android mobiles are the most awaited smartphones of this year. The phones are expected to arrive sometime in May in the market. Coming to the availability, the Nokia 3 is expected to hit the store shelves in the beginning of May, whereas the Nokia 5 will be available in mid-May and the Nokia 6 will be made available at the end of the month.

Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full-HD display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. For photography, there will be a 16MP primary rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP front selfie snapper.
Nokia 5 sports a 5.2-inch HD display powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. On the camera front, there is a 13MP primary rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera.
Lastly, Nokia 3 will feature a 5-inch HD display powered by a MediaTek MTK6737 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. For imaging, there are 8MP cameras at front and rear.
Nokia 9
Nokia 9 is likely to be the first Android flagship smartphone from HMD Global which is expected to be launched in next two months. It will pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with Adreno 540 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and a 3800mAh battery with QuickCharge 4 support.
The upcoming mobile will feature a 5.5-inch QHD OLED display. It will have 64GB/128GB of internal storage and run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS. According to rumours, the device is expected to have a 22MP dual lens at the rear and a 12MP front facing shooter for selfies.
