While Samsung officially discontinued its Galaxy Note 7 lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S8 has already started gaining attention. Recently, a teaser of the Galaxy S8 smartphone has been leaked and it revealed that the alleged smartphone may get launched on February 26, 2017.

1. Two models based on screen size
Samsung mobiles might launch two models of the upcoming mobile having different screen sizes- one with a 5.1-inch screen and the other with a 5.5-inch screen.
2. Curved Displays
A report from Korea Herald stated that the Galaxy S8 smartphone might get curved screens for both its models. That means the Galaxy S8 smartphone won’t come in a flat-screened model.
3. Dual-lens camera
ET News has claimed that the upcoming mobiles could feature dual camera setup at the rear panel. Furthermore, the dual camera setup will comprise the sensors of 16MP and 8MP. The camera is supposed to work similarly to the dual lens camera setup of iPhone 7 Plus.
4. Unique Home button
According to the rumors, the upcoming mobile Galaxy S8 is expected to come with a home button implanted beneath the front glass panel.
5. Powerful processor
According to the ET News report, the Galaxy S8 smartphones that will ship in the US market will be packed with a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipset, while the other international models will come equipped with Samsung’s own Exynos chipsets.
6. Release date in March
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to get launched at the World Mobile Congress event in Barcelona, while the sales of the smartphone will begin in March 2017.
7. New AI and VR
Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to come with Viv assistance instead of S Voice. The company has recently purchased Viv Labs which will now enable Samsung to have their own AI in their upcoming mobiles.
In addition, the smartphone is also expected come with a VR-ready 4K display that will enhance the VR experience.
