HTC India has recently slashed the prices for its HTC U Ultra and HTC Desire 10 Pro smartphones in the country. The HTC U Ultra was released in March this year in India for a price of Rs 59,990 and it is now available at Rs 52,990, whereas the HTC Desire 10 Pro was released back in November last year at a price of Rs 26,490 which is now available at Rs 23,990.
HTC has offered the official price cut of Rs 7000 on U Ultra in just one month. Then again, the HTC Desire 10 Pro gets Rs 2,500 price cut. Both the latest mobiles are available for purchase on HTC India Store.
The HTC U Ultra is a premium smartphone and has Sense Companion feature which is an AI-based system which identifies user’s daily patterns and offers friendly advice and usage recommendations accordingly. The Sense Companion will show the important alerts and notifications which are called as Priority Screen (ticker-style display) located above the display of the device.

HTC U Ultra features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) Super LCD display and has an additional 2-inch secondary display with 1040×160 pixels resolution. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Sense UI on top. It boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and up to 2TB of external storage via microSD card.
For photography, the HTC U Ultra offers a 12MP UltraPixel primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, OIS, f/2.8 aperture, and other popular camera features. Up front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter with UltraPixel mode and BSI sensor.
Secondly, the HTC Desire 10 Pro features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 400ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass protection. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with company’s Sense UI customisation on top. The handset draws power from a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and has a fingerprint sensor.
On the camera front, there is a 20MP primary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, Auto HDR mode, BSI sensor, and laser autofocus. At the front, it has a 13MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and BSI sensor.
The connectivity options on both devices include Bluetooth v4.2, 4G LTE with VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi. Additionally, U Ultra has USB 3.1 Type-C port, Miracast, and HTC Connect support, Hi-Res Audio support, and 3D audio recording with 4 microphones set up. Coming to the battery, both smartphones packs a 3000mAh battery.
