Samsung had launched the Galaxy J7 (2016) smartphone back in March this year, and now the company is headed towards its successor, dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017). The alleged upcoming mobile has been spotted on Indian import-export site Zauba right before its official announcement. The listing has provided some idea about the specifications and features of the upcoming Galaxy J7 (2017).
According to the Zauba listing, the upcoming mobile bears a model number SM-J727V with an import price of Rs 13,686. The market price of the Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to be in the range of Rs 15,000.
Based on the rumors, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to be featured with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The device is likely to be powered by an Exynos chipset along with a 3GB of RAM. The smartphone could sport a 13-megapixel of resolution on the rear camera and a 5-megapixel resolution on secondary front camera.
The upcoming mobile will be powered by a 3000mAh battery. The 3000mAh battery seems surprisingly smaller, as its predecessor has a larger 3300mAh battery in it. As Samsung has not announced anything about its upcoming mobile Galaxy J7 (2017), the speculations appear to be with a pinch of salt.
To recall, the existing Samsung Galaxy J7 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The device is equipped with a 1.6GHz octa-core SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. The onboard storage on the device includes 16GB space and memory expansion via microSD card is also available herewith.
The 4G VoLTE mobile Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) offers a 13MP primary rear camera. On the front panel, there is a 5MP front-facing camera. The device is powered by a 3300mAh battery. The connectivity option includes Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and Bluetooth.
Recently, Samsung has introduced latest mobiles in its J-series (2016) of smartphones. The company has launched Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime last month in the Indian market for the prices of Rs 14,790 and Rs 18,790 respectively.
