Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) Spotted on GFXBench with Android Nougat

Last month, Samsung has unveiled its Galaxy A (2017) and the 2017 edition of its Galaxy J7 smartphone is still to come. But, now the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has appeared on the GFXBench website with key specifications which are in sequence with the previous ones. As per the listing, the Galaxy J7 (2017) smartphone will be powered by a 1.5GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor and will run on the latest Android Nougat OS.

The listing further revealed that the smartphone will come equipped with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, and Mali T830 GPU. Last month, the smartphone paid a visit to another benchmark GeekBench, which had revealed a handful of details about the upcoming mobile. As per Geekbench listing, the smartphone will be powered by a 2.21GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.21GHz and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The chipset will boast an Adreno 506 GPU along with 2GB of RAM. The mobile was mentioned with a model number SM-J727P.

The recently leaked images of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) indicates a new back panel design with the metallic band for the camera and flash module of the device. The device will feature a new and improved design language. Also, several reports stated that the device has received the Bluetooth certification. In addition, some video renders of the smartphone were appeared as well. The video revealed that the smartphone will retain its design as of its predecessor sans the metal strip at back. It will come in two colour options- White and Grey.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is likely to offer comparatively features as its predecessor with the new improved design language. The device is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display.  It was previously rumoured to offer 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, but the RAM specification of the device doesn’t fall in line with the latest leaks. The GFXBench listing revealed an 8MP primary rear camera alongside a 5MP front-facing camera on the handset. It is likely to come with a 3000mAh battery.
