Samsung has recently launched its flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones in New York, the company has now expanded its ‘J’ series in India. The company has released the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro smartphone for a price of Rs 8,490. Interestingly, the South Korean giant has partnered with Paytm Mall for the distribution of the latest mobile via its mobile digital payments platform from April 6.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro was launched last year in China. The Galaxy J3 Pro also flaunts a metal-like finish similar to the other the J-series Samsung Mobiles. It has a physical home button and the S Bike mode which is a useful handsfree function for bikers.
Coming to the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz Spreadtrum quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and further expansion support of up to 128GB via microSD card. It is a dual-SIM mobile with 4G connectivity.

For photography, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro offers an 8MP primary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Also, it has a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. The rear camera is capable of recording full-Hd videos at 30fps. The handset measures dimensions at 142.2×71.3×7.9mm and weighs 138 grams.
On the connectivity front, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro includes 4G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, microUSB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The listing sans the support for 4G VoLTE connectivity, however, the confirmation whether the device will be able to use this feature is not known yet. The handset packs a 2600mAh battery. It will be offered in Gold, White, and Black colour options in India.
Sandeep Singh Arora who is the Vice President of Samsung India, Â Online Business said that the company is launching an online exclusive smartphone for the first time with its Galaxy J3 Pro. The new smartphone will be available on Paytm Mall. The smartphone delivers powerful performance and offers superior display, Sandeep added.
With the launch of a digital platform like Paytm Mall, the consumers will get the opportunity to get the latest and the most affordable Galaxy J Series smartphone in India.
