The upcoming Samsung mobile, Galaxy J3 (2017) was spotted last week on Indian import-export site, Zauba, and now it has been spotted on GeekBench. The new smartphone is listed on GeekBench with model number SM-J327P. The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) has scored 654 points in single-core test and 1833 points in a multi-core test on GeekBench listing.
According to Geekbench listing, the upcoming mobile is listed with 1343MB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 quad-core processor clocked at 1.40GHz. Whether the smartphone will translate the RAM to full 2GB or just 1.5GB is still unknown.
The smartphone will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. The Geekbench listing was first spotted by PriceRaja. The Galaxy J3 (2017) is expected to be a budget mobile phone and according to some reports the smartphone will be priced around Rs 10,000.
The Zauba listing mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) will feature a 5-inch screen and three units of Samsung smartphone carrying a model number SM-G5520 was been imported to India for testing purpose from South Korea. The Galaxy J3 (2017) smartphone was listed at a price of Rs 6,843; however, this doesn’t reflect the actual market price. Apart from this, no other details about the upcoming mobile were there on Zauba.
The Galaxy J3 (2017) was also appeared on TENNA certification site with model number SM-J3119 for the Chinese market and SM-J3110 for other international markets. According to the TENNA listing, the Galaxy J3 (2017) smartphone will feature a 5-inch AMOLED display. The smartphone carrying model number SM-J3110 will have HD (720×1280 pixels) display, while the SM-J3119 will have full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The Galaxy J3 (2017) processor’s rumors were claiming for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, which seems to be incorrect, as the Geekbench has mentioned a Snapdragon 430 quad-core SoC.
The upcoming mobile, Galaxy J3 (2017) is expected to offer 16GB of internal storage with storage expansion option. It will offer an 8MP primary rear camera with LED flash, while the front panel will boast a 5MP selfie snapper.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) is expected to come with Galaxy exclusive features such as S-Bike mode which is available in the existing Galaxy J3 smartphone.
