Samsung has a wide range of budget mobile phones in Indian market. Samsung seems to be geared up for yet another budget mobile phone named as Galaxy Grand Prime+. The alleged Galaxy Grand Prime+ smartphone was recently spotted on AnTuTu. It is expected to get launched in India with the similar price tag as of the Galaxy Grand Prime which was launched in India last year.
Samsung has not made any official announcement of the alleged Galaxy Grand Prime Plus smartphone, but it is expected to get released soon. The smartphone was earlier referred as the Galaxy Grand Prime (2016). The AnTuTu benchmark has listed the Galaxy Grand Prime+ smartphone with a model number SM-G532F. The device is equipped with a MediaTek MT6367T chipset clocked at 1.4GHz along with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
The Galaxy Grand Prime Plus will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and will sport a 5-inch display with 540×960 pixels resolution. The device will offer an 8MP primary rear camera alongside a 5MP selfie snapper. The upcoming mobile, Galaxy Grand Prime Plus seems to have similar features with minor upgrades over last year’s model.
Recently, Sanmobile has reported that the Galaxy Grand Prime Plus will feature Samsung’s own Grace UX interface which was first introduced on the Galaxy Note 7. The smartphone will include connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. The sensor on the board will include a proximity sensor, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor.
To refresh, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime was launched in August 2015, in India at a price of Rs 11,100. The budget mobile phone features a 5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) display. The device runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box version which is up-gradable to Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The device is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, and Mali-400 GPU.
On camera department, the Galaxy Grand Prime has an 8MP primary rear camera with LED flash and a secondary 5MP front-facing camera. The rear camera features popular camera functions such as face/smile detection, panorama, touch focus, and geo-tagging.
