The upcoming Samsung Galaxy C9 smartphone has made headlines in that last 24 hours. The Samsung’s upcoming mobile had first appeared on GeekBench, and then soon after it was spotted on another benchmarking site AnTuTu. Following these, the Galaxy C9 smartphone has now surfaced on GFXBench which has revealed the specs of the upcoming mobile.
The Samsung Galaxy C series of smartphone already has two Android phones in its lineup, as Galaxy C5 and the Galaxy C7. According to the listing on GFXBench, it is cleared that the upcoming mobile Galaxy C9 will feature a 6-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display together with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
The Galaxy C9 smartphone has reported being featured with a 6GB of RAM by three benchmarking sites. On GeekBench listing, the smartphone has appeared on the model number SM-C9000. The same model number was earlier spotted on an Indian import-export site Zauba with the price of Rs 17,107 per unit. While so, the price listing on Zauba is not the actual market price as various taxes are further imposed on the smartphone as per the state’s regulations.
If the listings on the above benchmarks are to be believed, this mid-range device could most likely to sport bigger RAM specification than Samsung’s own flagship device. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz coupled with the Adreno 510 GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with Samsung’s custom UI on top. The smartphone will offer a 16MP primary rear camera, but a 16M shooter is also expected to be on the front side of the device. The android phone will offer popular photography features such as face detection, flash, HDR, autofocus, and touch focus.
The upcoming mobile Galaxy C9 will be built on a metal unibody design just like the other android phones in the Galaxy C series. In fact, the Galaxy C9 will feature a very parallel design as its siblings, the Galaxy C5, and the Galaxy C7 smartphones, though the device will come in a larger form factor.
