Samsung mobiles are always surrounded with rumors and leaks for its upcoming mobiles. This time, Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro has appeared on a few certification sites which thrown light on the key specifications of the device. The smartphone has cleared the TENAA and Wi-Fi recently.
Previously, the Galaxy C7 Pro has received the certification and the Galaxy C5 Pro is a new addition to Samsung’s C series of smartphones. The Galaxy C5 Pro is expected to launch at the CES 2017 in January. It was first spotted on India’s import-export site, Zauba which had revealed the import-price of the device as Rs 20,483.
Talking about the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro, the smartphone will feature a 5.2-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It will have a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage with up to 256GB external storage via microSD card.
The TENAA listing does not reveal details about the camera of the device but it is expected that it will offer a 16MP primary rear camera alongside a 16MP front camera similar to Galaxy C9 Pro. The dual-SIM mobile will also have a fingerprint scanner embedded in the physical home button.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and will pack a 3000mAh battery. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, micro USB, and Bluetooth. The device measures dimensions at 145.7×71.4×6.95mm and weighs 170 grams. There are no details about the price of the upcoming mobile is received yet, however, the Zauba listing mentioned Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro priced at Rs 20,483 which is the import price and not the retail price.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is also expected to get launched soon. It will come with a 5.7-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It is expected to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB internal storage. The smartphone will offer 16MP camera sensors both at the front and rear panel of the device. It will also include USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner, and Samsung Pay service. It will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS wrapped under Samsung’s Grace UX.
