Oppo has recently launched its Oppo F3 smartphone in the Indian market. The key highlight of the latest mobile is its dual selfie cameras. The handset is priced at Rs 19,999 and it is available for pre-order until May 12. The first sale of the device will begin on May 13.
The newly launched Oppo F3 smartphone is identical to the Oppo F3 Plus which was released earlier this year. The new smartphone is slightly smaller than the Oppo F3 Plus. To recall, the Oppo F3 Plus was launched at Rs 30,990.
Camera
The Oppo F3 features a dual front-facing camera setup. One of the sensors on the device includes a 16MP 1.3-inch sensor with f/2.0 aperture, whereas the other one is an 8MP sensor with a wide-angle lens. The former sensor has a 76.4-degree wide-angle lens which is ideal for selfies, while the latter features a 120-degree wide-angle lens which is ideal for group selfies thanks to its 105-degree field-of-view.
Users have the option to select which lens they want to use while capturing selfies. Moreover, there is a Smart Facial Recognition feature which is said to be intelligent enough to automatically detect which lens is ideal for photographs. The camera offers various features like Beautify 4.0, screen flash, palm shutter, and selfie panorama.
Oppo F3: Specifications
Coming to the specifications, the Oppo F3 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) In-Cell TFT display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 2.5D curved glass on top. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with ColorOS 3.0 skin on top. The handset is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor paired with Mali T860 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB onboard storage, and option to expand the storage via microSD card up to 128GB.
The Oppo F3 has a fingerprint sensor embedded in its home button which is claimed to be as fast as it could unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds. The handset has a feature called Clone Apps which let users have two Whatsapp accounts on the same device. It is a dual-SIM mobile with a dedicated microSD card slot in the tray.
For photography, the Oppo F3 offers a 13MP primary rear camera with 1.3-inch sensor, LED flash, and PDAF. The device has a 3200mAh battery which is non-removable in nature. The connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, micro USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Lastly, the handset measures dimensions at 153.3×75.3×7.3mm and weighs 153 grams.
