Almost all the big smartphone launches of the year are already done and dusted. Still, OnePlus is rumoured to launch a new flagship device before the year ends. The recent rumours are suggesting that the company is reportedly working on the OnePlus 5T smartphone. Now, the handset is spotted on AnTuTu benchmark via a Chinese website.
The rumours about the OnePlus 5T has been started swirling on the internet from last week. The appearance on AnTuTu benchmark is the evidence that the company is planning to launch a new OnePlus mobile. The listing has revealed some key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 5T device.
OnePlus 5T: Spotted listings
OnePlus 5T has appeared on AnTuTu with a OnePlus A5010 code name. In case you don’t remember, the OnePlus 5 smartphone carried a code name A5000. Last year, OnePlus 3T was launched few months after the launch of OnePlus 3. And, it was just a minor upgrade with improved and latest SoC than the previous one. Now, the OnePlus 5T could also be just a minor upgrade with a few improved features.
Separately, the OnePlus 5T has appeared for pre-orders on an online store. The pre-order listing was spotted by GizmoChina. According to the report, the phone has been listed on Oppo Mart along with pricing and key specifications. The handset will be priced at $549 (roughly Rs 35,800). It is likely to offer a 6-inch Optic AMOLED display protected by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass.
OnePlus 5T: Rumoured Specifications
The AnTuTu listing revealed that the phone is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset on board, Adreno 540 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The handset is speculated to come with full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with the aspect ratio of 18:9. Having such ratio will provide bezel-less appearance on OnePlus 5T.
The phone is also likely to offer dual camera setup at the rear similar to OnePlus 5. The listing suggests that it will have a setup of 20MP + 20MP sensors. It is also speculated to have optical image stabilisation (OIS). As the phone will be an upgrade to OnePlus 5, it will have higher resolution cameras. Furthermore, the phone is believed to run on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. Several media reports are claiming that the phone could get launched in sometime in November (probably on November 5).
