ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia has recently launched the Nubia N2 smartphone in India. It is a selfie-centric smartphone with a 16MP selfie snapper. Apart from this, the handset boasts a massive 5000mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 60 hours of talk time and standby time up to 3 days. The Nubia N2 is priced at Rs 15,999.
To recall, the Nubia N2 was launched back in March this year alongside the Nubia M2 and Nubia M2 Lite. The latest mobile is available for purchase exclusively via Amazon India. Additionally, it is offered in Black Gold and Champagne Gold colour options.
Nubia N2: Specifications
Coming to the specifications, the Nubia N2 features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) AMOLED display wrapped under On-cell lamination, 2.5D Curved Glass, and pixel density of 267ppi. Furthermore, the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS powered by Nubia UI 4.0. The handset is equipped with a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM.
Moreover, on the camera front, the Nubia N2 offers a 13MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and dual LED flash support. Similarly. up front, it has a 16MP camera with Samsung’s 3P3ST sensor, an 80-degree wide-angle lens, and aperture of f/2.0.
Nubia N2 is a dual-SIM mobile (hybrid configuration) which supports two Nano SIM cards. The device has 64GB of internal storage with the option to extend memory up to 128GB using microSD card. The connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The handset draws power from a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. However, the company states that the device can give up to 12 hours of web browsing, 11 hours of video streaming, 41.5 hours of music, and 60 hours of talk time on one charge. It measures dimensions at 155x75x7.9mm and weighs 180 grams.
Nevertheless, Nubia N2 is a perfect blend of battery power, power-packed performance, and breathtaking selfie capabilities. It seems to be a good option to buy below Rs 20,000. On the other hand, there are a few alternatives to the Nubia N2 smartphone are available in the market- Gionee A1, Asus Zenfone Selfie, Oppo F3, Vivo V5s, and Samsung Galaxy J7 Max. Lastly, all these phones are priced under Rs 20,000 and offer decent selfies and accelerated performance.
