Nokia has made a grand return in the global market with its presence at the MWC 2017 trade show in Barcelona where the company unveiled its Nokia 3, Nokia 5 Android smartphones and the refreshed version of the iconic Nokia 3310 feature phone. Alongside the two smartphones, Nokia also announced the availability of the Nokia 6 smartphone in global markets which was China exclusive so far. Nokia 3310 (2017 Edition)
The Nokia 3310 feature phone has finally returned to the market now. The new phone features a 2.4-inch QVGA colour display and it runs on Nokia Series 30+ OS. It is a 2G mobile. The phone has 16MB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. The Nokia 3310 also has a 2MP primary rear camera with LED flash. It packs a 1200mAh battery which is claimed to deliver a battery life of up to 1 month on standby and up to 22 hours of talk time. The 2017 Edition Nokia 3310 phone is priced at EUR 49 (roughly Rs 3,500). The feature phone will be available in India in Q2 2017.
Nokia 6
The Nokia 6 smartphone was launched last month in China and is now headed for the global markets. The smartphone is priced at EUR 229 (roughly Rs 16,000). The Global variant of Nokia 6 has 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM, whereas the China model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Furthermore, the company has launched the Nokia 6 Arte Black special edition which offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Arte Black edition flaunts a glossy black body design. The smartphone will arrive in India in Q2 2017.
The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full-HD display covered by 2.5D Gorilla Glass. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. For photography, it has a 16MP rear camera along with an 8MP selfie camera. The phone has a 3000mAh battery.
Nokia 3
The Nokia 3 is the cheapest Nokia mobile in the market which offers premium design. The Nokia 3 is priced at EUR 139 (roughly Rs 9,900). It features a polycarbonate body and has a metallic frame on the edges. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The device boasts a 1.3GHz MediaTek 6737 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and up to 128GB of external storage via microSD card. Besides, it has a 2650mAh battery, NFC, 8MP cameras at front and rear, and microUSB.
Nokia 5
Lastly, the Nokia 5 is a compact smartphone from HMD Global which is priced at EUR 189 (roughly Rs 13,500). It features a 5.2-inch HD (720p) display and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and up to 128GB of external storage via microSD card. On the camera front, it has a 13MP rear camera alongside an 8MP selfie shooter in front. It supports 4G LTE connectivity and packs a 3000mAh battery.
