Samsung seems to be working on a new tablet featuring S Pen support based on the speculations from a leaked user manual of upcoming Samsung tablet models. The user manual for model number SM-P580/P585 was spotted on Samsung’s support page with S Pen stylus support. Though this adds credibility to these rumors, but the company hasn’t confirmed anything as of now.
At a glance, the upcoming tablets seems quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 which was launched previously this year. But the inclusion of S Pen in its package will be a major difference. Most of the user manuals on company’s website are in Korean, but a number of drawing in the manual are clearly pointing out that the upcoming tablet will include a stylus and few other specifications.
The specifications of upcoming Galaxy tablet will not be top-notch except the S Pen feature. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 was an upgraded version of its 8-inch and 9.7-inch models. The tablet was equipped with an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor coupled with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage.
Specifications
The display of the tablet was a 10.1-inch Full HD display with 1200×1920 pixels resolution. The SM-P580 tablet is expected to feature the same specification as of the Tab A 10.1.
The connectivity options will include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth and microSD card support for extra storage. The device will measure the dimensions of 10×6.5×0.32 inches. The device will have an Android operating system on board and will have Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface on top.
The popular features of S Pen such as Samsung Notes app will work great on this tablet and the multi-window mode will increase the overall productivity of the device.
