Xiaomi had introduced its latest noise-cancelling in-ear headphones in India back in October this year alongside the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 smartphone. The earphone was originally released with a USB Type-C port. Now, the company has launched a version of Xiaomi Mi Noise Cancelling headphone with 3.5mm headphone jack.
It is worth mentioning that the new Mi noise cancelling headphones is launched in China at a price of CNY 299 (roughly Rs 2,900). Essentially, the new headphone is the next-generation of last year’s Mi noise cancelling headphones. Coincidently, both headphones were launched on the 12.12 calendar date. This is because the 12.12 date is believed to be auspicious in Chinese culture.
At the time of launching, Xiaomi stated that the new Mi Noise Cancelling headphones have dynamic iron acoustic structure and a dual dynamic coil. Such architecture is beneficial for noise reduction. Additionally, the latest Xiaomi headphones come with Xiaomi’s patented music separation acoustic system which is ideal for music listening.
Moreover, the Mi Noise Cancelling in-ear headphones have equipped with Hi-Res audio technology and have high-quality audio product certification. This lets the headphones restore the audio output up to CD-level quality. Coming to the active noise cancellation, the headphones have an acoustic impedance of 320hm, frequency response from 50Hz to 40000Hz, and 113dB/mW sensitivity.
The earphones have built-in micro-electromechanically noise reduction microphone which is helpful in noise reduction. The users can get the maximum noise suppression level of 20dB using headphones. This feature is ideal for listening music effectively in the public environments.
Coming to the design language, the design of the new Mi Noise Cancelling headphones resembles the previous Mi Noise Cancelling model. It is made out of metal and comes with the Black colour option. There is an elastic back clip provided on the earphone which is quite convenient while travelling.
As per Xiaomi’s official product page, the headphone has a 55mAh integrated battery which powers the noise cancelling feature. The battery is rated to deliver 12-hours of life on single charge. It can be charged using a micro USB port.
