The Chinese OEM, Meizu seems to be all set for a new smartphone called Meizu Pro 6s. The company had launched its flagship device, the Pro 6, this year in April. The Pro 6s smartphone has just certified by the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC). The upcoming mobile is expected to get released sometime in next month.
The upcoming mobile, Meizu Pro 6s was also been spotted on Weibo by AndroidPure, showing the benchmark results of the smartphone. As per the leaks, the Pro 6s is expected to come with a full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display along with a MediaTek MT6796 deca-core chipset, 4GB of RAM, and Mali-T880 GPU. The device is likely to offer 64GB of built-in storage and it will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The Meizu mobile was also marked on GeekBench with a codename ‘alps M92’. But on GeekBench, the smartphone was listed with a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core chipset clocked at a speed of 2.3GHz alongside a 3GB RAM.
The Meizu Pro 6s appears to be an upgraded version of Pro 6. The existing Meizu Pro 6 smartphone features a 5.2-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The smartphone features a MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz along with a 4GB RAM. The smartphone is offered in two storage variants- 32GB and 64GB. The device supports external storage up to 128GB via microSD card.
The Pro 6 offers a 21MP primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and PDAF. The front-facing camera includes a 5MP sensor which can record videos at 1080p resolution. The device includes popular camera features like touch focus, face detection, geo-tagging, HDR, and panorama. The primary camera of Pro 6 is capable to record videos at 2160p @30fps and 720p @100fps.
The Pro 6 smartphone is packed with a 2560mAh battery with mCharge 3.0 fast charging technology. The connectivity option includes dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC, and Bluetooth. Sensors on the board include a fingerprint sensor, gyro, accelerometer, compass, proximity, and barometer.
The Meizu Pro 6 smartphone is priced at RMB 2,499 (roughly Rs 25,300) for 32GB storage variant, while the 64GB variant is priced at RMB 2,799 (roughly Rs 28,300).
