Reliance Retail has expanded its roots in Indian smartphone market with the launch of Lyf Wind 2 Smartphone, successor of the Wind 1. It is the first mobile in the Wind series that has comes out with a 6-inch display with metallic frame design. Like other Smartphone of the Lyf brand, the Wind 2 also offers 4G connectivity beside the VoLTE (Voice over LTE) support.

A Look at the Specifications – Lyf Wind 2
The screen of Wind 2 is a 6-inched HD IPS display. The phone has a primary camera of 8 megapixel with an LED flash and a 2 megapixel at its front. The phone is backed by a non-removable 2850mAh battery that lasts up to 9 hours of talk time over the 4G networks, 190 hours of a standby time and 6 hours of nonstop HD video playback on its 720×1280 pixel display with pixel density of 294ppi.
The Lyf Wind 2 smartphone runs on an Android 5.1 Lollipop with the power of 1GHz quad-core processor from MediaTek MT6735M SoC and a 2GB RAM. The device comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB with microSD card.
Talking about the connectivity options, the phone supports numerous options such as 4G, dual-SIM (Regular+Nano), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB with OTG, Bluetooth v4.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack. But only one SIM card slot can access the 4G network at a time. Sensors on this mobile include ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and an accelerometer. The device measures 157.5x81x8.5mm and weights 223 grams.
