Logitech has recently rolled out new gaming peripherals in the Indian market. The company has launched the Logitech G603 Lightspeed wireless mouse and G613 Lightspeed mechanical keyboard in its G-series of gaming peripherals. The G603 Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse is priced at Rs 5,995, whereas the G6013 Lightspeed mechanical keyboard is available at a price tag of Rs 8,495.
To recall, both the gaming peripherals were launched back in August this year just ahead of the IFA 2017. The highlight of the Logitech G603 Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse is its advanced optical sensor known as ‘HERO’ (High-Efficiency Rated Optical) which is competent to offer sensitivity up to 12,000 DPI.
Moreover, the incorporation of new optical sensor reduces the power consumption and delivers up to 500 hours of continuous gaming experience. There are six programmable buttons on the mouse which helps the user to customise the controls for games. It is powered by two AA batteries.
Coming to the Logitech G613 Lightspeed mechanical keyboard, it is a full-sized gaming keyboard with six programmable keys. It has a non-removable wrist rest which is quite comfortable while playing games for long hours. Besides the programmable G-keys, there are Romer-G switches which have fast actuation speed, a distance of 1.5mm and require very little force to register a click.
The wireless technology used on Logitech G613 Lightspeed mechanical keyboard is having a 1ms report rate and the Bluetooth connectivity for the connection of multiple devices. The mechanical keyboard receives juice from two AA batteries and the company claims to deliver up to 18 months of life.
To operate the keyboard, the users require connecting the wireless USB receiver into a computer and then turning on the power of the keyboard. To customise the profiles and the G-keys, the users will also require having the latest version of Logitech’s Gaming Software. Still, there is no backlighting on the keyboard which might disappoint few gamers.
Other than computer and laptop, the wireless keyboard can be paired with your phone using Bluetooth. All-in-all, the G603 wireless gaming mouse and G13 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard are very impressive.
