LG mobiles seem to be preparing for a new smartphone in its G-series this. The South Korean company has released its LG G6 smartphone earlier this month in India and the company is believed to be working on a ‘mini’ version of the mobile called the LG G6 mini. Citing the sources, the alleged smartphone has been reported by TechnoBuffalo website.
According to the documents obtained by TechnoBuffalo suggests that the upcoming mobile will have a design similar to its original LG G6 smartphone, but it will be only a smaller size device. It will have a 5.4-inch display with the same aspect ratio as of the original G6’s display.
Moreover, LG G6 mini is expected to have a screen-to-body ratio of below eighty percent. To recollect LG G6 features a 78.6 percent screen-to-body ratio.
As of now, there is no other information about the rumoured LG G6 mini has received yet. The upcoming mobile is said to have less-powerful specifications when compared with the G6. There is a possibility to see less RAM capacity and Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC on the device with low screen resolution. The smartphone is believed to be targeted at developing markets.

LG G6 mini: Specifications
To recall, the LG G6 smartphone was launched earlier this month in India for a price of Rs 51,990. The device features a metal body and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with UX 6.0 layer on top. The device features a unique 5.7-inch FullVision display with 1440×2880 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display has an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Coming to the specifications, the LG G6 boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, external storage of up to 2TB when microSD card is used.
On the camera front, the LG G6 comes with a dual-camera setup at the rear comprising two 13MP sensors. The one sensor among these captures wide-angle photographs with the 125-degree lens, f/2.4 aperture, whereas the other sensor captures regular images with a 71-degree lens and f/1.8 aperture. It also has a 5MP selfie snapper at the front with f/2.2 aperture and a 100-degree lens.
The device packs a 3300mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The connectivity option includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C 2.0.
