Huawei has introduced three new fitness wearable devices in the Indian market- Huawei Fit, Band 2 and Band 2 Pro. The latest fitness bands will be available at the leading online stores, retail watch stores as well as electronic retail outlets. The Huawei Fit is priced at Rs 9,999, Huawei Band 2 is priced at Rs 4,599 and the Band 2 Pro is available at Rs 6,999.
Among the three, the Huawei Fit is an activity tracker which doubles as a smartwatch. It has a watch-like circular design with an always-on screen. As per company’s statement, the Huawei Fit will be offered in two sizes with three colour options- Blue, Black, and Orange. It was first launched back in 2016 in the US market.
Coming to the fitness tracking features, the Fit can measure distance, calories, steps, and sleep monitoring. Moreover, there is a heart rate scanner. The band also provides alerts and notifications for text messages and calls. One a single charge, the Fit band can last for up to six days with regular usage and standby time of up to 30 days.
Besides the Fit smart wearable, the company has also released the Band 2 and Band 2 Pro. Both fitness bands have an always-on display and heart rate scanner. These wearables are compatible with smartphones running on iOS 8.0 or higher and Android 4.4 or higher. The bands are offered in Smart Black and Bold Red colour options.
Huawei Band 2 Pro is a simple fitness tracker which allows you to use the tracking features without a phone. It can calculate precise distance and speed while running. The Band 2 Pro, as the name indicates, is a bit more advanced than the Band 2. It has built-in GPS and Professional Run Coach features.
The Advanced Sleep Tracking feature is ideal for sleep monitoring and analysis of sleep quality. It also provides personalised advice to improve the sleep quality of the user. For performing this, it uses the current sleep data of the user and suggests improvements. The band is claimed to offer up to 21 days of standby time and normal usage for up to 7 days.
