The latest Google Pixel smartphones are now up for pre-orders in India. The pre-orders of Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have started at 12 am on October 26. The registration has started on Flipkart with exclusive pre-order offers. Along with online stores, the phone will also make available in offline retail stores.
Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL: Pre-order offers
The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL buyers will get free Sennheiser headset worth Rs 11,990 as a part of the pre-order offer. Furthermore, there is Rs 8,000 cashback option available when the purchase is made via HDFC Band credit cards. There is also a guaranteed 50 percent buyback value offer when the user upgrades to a new smartphone using exchange offer. Moreover, the users can get extra exchange bonus of up to Rs 5000 on select phone models.
In addition, there is a no-cost EMI option available on the device starting at Rs 3,389 per month. Flipkart has further announced a social media contest where it will offer Google Daydream View 2 headsets to the five lucky winners. The selected winners will also get a special packaging box as a gift from Google during the deliveries.
Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL: All you need to know
Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are the latest Google flagship smartphones. The phones were launched globally earlier this month in San Francisco during a special hardware event.
In India, the Pixel 2 prices start at Rs 61,000 for the base model with 64GB internal storage. Whereas the Google Pixel 2 XL model prices start at Rs 73,000 for the 64GB storage variant. The 128GB storage models of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL costs Rs 71,000 and Rs 82,000 respectively. The handsets will be offered in White, Blue, and Black colour options.
Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL: Specifications
The Pixel 2 features a 5-inch display while the Pixel 2 XL comes with a 6-inch display. Among these, the Pixel 2 XL flaunts a slimmer bezel design, while the Pixel 2 has big bezels and it looks outdated. The Pixel 2 XL boasts a pOLED QHD+ display which offers 18:9 aspect ratio. In contrast, the Pixel 2 has a full HD OLED display.
Under the hood, there is a 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. For photography, there is a 12.2MP camera alongside a 8MP selfie snapper at the front.
