The Taiwanese OEM Asus is about to launch its latest smartphone called the ZenFone 3S Max (ZC521TL) on February 7 in India. The smartphone will be made available for purchase via both online and offline channels. The pricing and availability detail of the smartphone is yet to receive.
The Asus ZenFone 3S Max is an incremental upgrade over the ZenFone 3 Max smartphone with better specifications and slight changes. The new smartphone also features a massive 5000mAh battery which is the key highlight of the smartphone. It will be offered in Gold and Black colour options.
The Asus ZenFone 3S Max (ZC521TL) smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It has a unique Bluelight filter feature. The handset flaunts an aluminium metal body and features a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. The company claims that the smartphone can get unlocked in 0.5 seconds using the fingerprint scanner which can recognize up to 5 fingers.
On the specification front, the Asus ZenFone 3S Max is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and up to 2TB external storage via microSD card. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based ZenUI 3.0. It supports features likes of ZenMotion Touch Gesture, multi-window mode, and GameGenie to name a few.
For photography, the smartphone offers a 13MP primary rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual LED real-tone flash, and 5P Largan lens. The handset sports popular camera features such as low light mode, backlight HDR mode, super resolution mode, panoramic mode, and beautification mode. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide angle lens. The smartphone supports reverse charging feature using which you can use your Asus ZenFone 3S Max smartphone as a power bank for other smartphones.
The Asus ZenFone 3S Max (ZC521TL) smartphone is expected to be priced at Rs 16,000. Looking at the specifications and the expected price, the mobile will compete with likes of Lenovo P2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
