The latest Apple iPhones are here in India. The Cupertino-based tech giant has recently rolled out the latest Apple iPhone 8 and the Apple iPhone 8 Plus smartphones in India. Previously, both phones were available for pre-orders since September 22 in India. Moreover, Reliance Jio has promised various schemes and offers on the latest iPhone portfolio.
Recently, Reliance Jio hosted a launch event where it released the new iPhones in India. It’s noteworthy that Jio has partnered Apple Inc. for releasing the new iPhones in India. Furthermore, the telco is promising a 70 percent buyback offer on the devices.
Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus: Price, Launch offers
Coming to the pricing, the latest iPhone 8 comes with a price tag of Rs 64,000 for the 64GB storage model. On the other hand, the 256GB storage model is priced at Rs 77,000. Secondly, the iPhone 8 Plus is priced at Rs 73,000 for the 64GB model and Rs 86,000 for the 256GB model.
Both the devices are available with several offers from Reliance Jio. The company is offering cashback of up to Rs 10,000 when purchased using World Debit cards and Citi Credit cards. Moreover, Jio says that it will offer a buyback of 70 percent of the value of the phone. Also, Jio has launched a new plan of Rs 799 that will provide 90GB of data for new iPhones.
Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus: Specifications and Features
The latest iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus has retained the design language of its predecessors; however, there are a few significant changes. The phones come with an improved display, new colour options (Space Gray, Gold, and Silver), glass at front and back panel, and 25 percent louder speakers. The use of glass on the rear panel has enabled the support for QI wireless inductive charging technology.
The iPhone 8 lineup also comes with improved cameras. The iPhone 8 has enhanced 12MP rear camera, whereas the iPhone 8 Plus brags a duo of 12MP sensors at the rear to offer breathtaking photography experience.
Besides, there is the latest Apple A11 Bionic six-core SoC embedded on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus that offers efficiency while performing complex tasks. In addition, it boasts 30 percent additional graphics power than its predecessor thanks to the improved GPU.
