The internet has been surfaced with a lot of rumors and leaks regarding Android 7.0 Nougat. And now, a Canadian mobile operator, Telus has mentioned that the new Android Nougat updates will be initially available for the Huawei Nexus 6P and LG Nexus 5X from August 22. However, Google has not confirmed the release date for the same.
Android Central has stated that the launch date provided by Telus last year for the Marshmallow update on Nexus devices was very accurate. And the same carrier has mentioned the launch date for Android 7.0 Nougat scheduled updates. Earlier this year, Google’s Android N Developer preview was provided for early access to Android N on Nexus devices, Sony Xperia Z3 and Google Pixel C.
The further indication was added by LG as the Android Nougat limited preview program has announced for Korean G5s which is likely to introduce on August 22. Google has always shared the final code of its mobile operating system before its official release to all major smartphone manufacturers. LG has previously confirmed that the upcoming LG V20 flagship smartphone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system which is likely to launch on September 6. No doubt LG V20 will be the first device to feature latest android operating system, but Nexus devices and Sony Xperia Z3 and Google Pixel C smartphones will have an exclusive hands-on it before V20. If the said rumors turn out accurately then we can expect an official announcement on August 22 from the search giant.
