Amazon Echo series Features
Coming to the features, the Amazon Echo smart speakers are compatible with Amazon’s artificial intelligence-based (AI) personal assistant called Alexa. These are the voice-controlled speakers. So, you can actually talk to it and perform various tasks like playing music, making phone calls, controlling your smart home, and setting a reminder. To do so, the speaker is required to be tethered to a power source.
You can actually use the voice commands such as “Alexa, play Arijit Singh songs” and it will play the requested songs automatically. The smart speaker responds you and starts playing the requested songs.
The Echo has a cylindrical shape with the integrated 2.5-inch woofer. The company has introduced a new microphone technology which is competent to capture the audio commands even when the users are speaking from a distance. The speaker has Bluetooth connectivity and has Dolby Digital sound output.
The Echo Plus, on the other hand, is a smart hub which let you connect the supported smart home devices. It has a 360-degree omnidirectional audio and Dolby sound to get crisp and clear sound experience.
Lastly, the Echo Dot is a portable hands-free device which is powered by Alexa and is competent to handle far-field voice recognition similar to Echo. The users can connect the compatible device using Bluetooth or the 3.5mm stereo cable.
