ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini

The Nubia Z11 Mini smartphone features a 5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 2.5D Arc Glass on top. It is powered by a Qualcomm’s MSM8952 1.5GHz Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of primary storage which is expandable up to 200GB via microSD card. The device runs on a 2800mAh battery.The key highlight feature of Nubia Z11 Mini is the 16MP primary rear camera. The rear camera has Sony IMX298 sensor, a 6-piece driving vibrator which speeds up the focusing power, f/2.2 aperture, and Sapphire protection lens.

The secondary camera includes an 8MP front-facing camera with selfie fill-in low light feature for capturing selfies in low-light conditions. The cameras of the device are offered with NeoVision 5.8 and which is a DSLR-level photography system. Also, Clone Camera function is there.The smartphone also has dedicated fingerprint scanner at the back panel which can allow users to save up to 5 fingerprints.

The Nubia Z11 Mini has what is easily the best camera in the sub-20k segment. It’s no slouch in low light conditions either. To counter lack of light, the software increases brightness, making images a tad bleak. It has a glass back, which adds to the good looks of the phone, but it is a fingerprint magnet and relatively slippery.It has rounded sides, a compact form factor and a familiar, but comfortable design. There’s also 2.5D glass on the front. Overall, the Nubia Z11 Mini looks premium, is comfortable to hold, and feels premium. The Nubia Z11 Mini also supports some gestures. The fingerprint sensor works well. You’ll see lags when switching between apps, opening and closing them, or just trying to use one of the many gestures. Moreover, I encountered lags and stutters while playing games. Audio quality on the phone is fine. 

We thought the 2800 mAh battery wouldn’t be enough, but Nubia has done a good job of optimising it.Further, the good design, commendable display, and the decent battery life add to the overall experience. However, its performance is a bummer. If you’re willing to compromise performance for a good camera, then go for the Nubia Z11 Mini.
