Xiaomi has finally released its much awaited Black Shark Gaming smartphone in China. The phone brags several gaming-centric features and comes with a unique liquid cooling system. The Xiaomi Black Shark smartphone pricing starts at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 31,100). The phone will go head to head with the Razer Phone.
The phone will be made available in China from April 20 on select stores. While so, no information about the global launch of the device is revealed by Xiaomi.

Coming to the specifications, the new Black Shark Gaming smartphone features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with 403ppi pixel resolution and brightness of up to 550 nits. It supports DCI-P3 Wide colour gamut which can go up to 97 percent. It is a Bluetooth 4.0 enabled smartphone.

Xiaomi has also released a gaming controller for this device. The controller dock includes a trigger button and a joystick which can be used while playing games on the device. It is worth mentioning that the controller can be purchased separately at CNY 179 (roughly Rs 1,900). The key highlight of the Xiaomi Black Shark device is its liquid cooling system which prevents overheating.
The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB/8GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 31,100), whereas the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs 36,400). The phone is offered in Polar Night and Sky Grey colour options.
For photography, Xiaomi Black Shark offers a dual rear camera setup consisting 20MP + 12MP sensors. Both camera sensors have a f/1.75 aperture. Also, there is a LED flash module. Up front, there is a 20MP selfie snapper with f/2.2 aperture.
For enjoying a break-free gaming experience, the handset has a larger 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS and GLONASS. The sensor onboard includes an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and geomagnetic gravity sensor.
