HP is a brand which is well known for bringing innovations to laptops. This time too, HP has astounded the world with its new spectre 13.
Spectre 13 has been launched in India and this laptop claims to be the thinnest laptop in the world. This laptop is 10.4mm thick and thus, it is thinner than both the 12-inch MacBook and 13-inch MacBook Air. Its carbon fibre and aluminium build body weigh 1.11kg which is heavier than MacBook (0.92Kg) but lighter than the 13-inch MacBook Air (1.35kg). HP Spectre features a 13.3-inch display, setting a new scale for other slim 13-inch notebooks out there.
HP, while building the slimmest laptop, hasn’t compromised with specifications either. This 64-bit Windows 10 laptop will be available in two variants and both the variants feature 13.3-inch 1080p display with Gorilla Glass protection that does not support touch. HP Spectre comes with the choice of Intel Core i5 variant with a 256GB PCIe based SSD storage and 8GB RAM, and the i7 variant with a 512GB PCIe based storage. It also features a full-size island-style backlit keyboard and dual HP speakers powered by Bang & Olufsen audio are installed on either side of keyboard. HP also claims that the 4-cell 38Whr Li-ion battery inside the device is capable enough to keep the laptop running for 9.5 hours on a single charge.
Hp Spectre prices at Rs. 1.2 lakh. According to sources, it will be available across all HP stores and channel partners in July.
Rajiv Srivastava, Managing Director, HP India said, “HP as India’s technology leader aims to make life better, productive and more fun. We are at the forefront of delivering industry-leading innovation and HP’s Spectre 13 is a beautifully crafted.”
