Vu Televisions recently launched a new range of Android TVs in India. The Vu Official Android TV series has three models in it- 55-inch (55SU138), 49-inch (49SU131), and 43-inch (43SU128). All these television sets come with 4K UHD panels, integrated soundbar, two 10W speakers, voice control, and other useful features.

Coming to the price, the Vu 55-inch (55SU138) is priced at Rs 55,999 in India. The second model, 49-inch (49SU131) TV set costs Rs 46,999 and the 43-inch (43SU128) is priced at Rs 36,999. The latest Vu televisions will compete with the recently launched Xiaomi Mi TV 4 that features 4K HDR. The Mi TV 4 is priced at Rs 39,999 for the 55-inch model. However, MI TV 4 offers HDR support on its 4K display.

The latest TV offerings from Vu run on Android 7.0 Smart OS. All three models have Google apps preloaded on them that includes Google Play Store, YouTube and others. Apart from this, there are apps like Netflix, Facebook Video, Hotstar, ALT Balaji, and Sony Liv to name a few. All three models come with Chromecast feature and have a remote control with support for voice commands.
The specifications of all three Vu Android TV models are almost similar excluding the panel size. All three- 55-inch, 49-inch and 43-inch models boast IPS DLED backlit panels with 4K UHD (3840×2160 pixels) resolution. The TV supports 450-nit brightness, 8-bit colour panel, and 60Hz refresh rate. As mentioned earlier, the TV sets run on a version of Android Nougat OS. And, Vu has promised upgrade for Android Oreo on the device.
All three Vu Official Android TV models are equipped with a quad-core processor coupled with 2.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, three HDMI ports, one S/PDIF port, two USB ports, one AV component port, one 3.5mm headphone jack, and one RF input. Due to the feature-rich experience, the new Vu televisions are one of the best affordable 4K TVs in India.
All three models come with Dolby Digital audio and DTS TruSurround support. They all feature two 10W speakers integrated into a soundbar.
