As expected, Vivo launched two new smartphones under its X-series in the Chinese market. The all-new Vivo X21 and X21 UD smartphones are the successors to X20 Plus UD. The latest Vivo mobiles boast iPhone X-like notch on the display which is gradually becoming a popular trend. However, the key highlight of the X21 UD and the 128GB special edition of X21 is the in-display fingerprint sensor.
To recall, the Vivo X20 Plus UD was the first smartphone from Vivo to come with fingerprint scanner under its display. Also, Vivo showcase a concept phone at the MWC 2018 event called as Vivo Apex. This concept phone boasted an in-display fingerprint sensor as well. It is worth mentioning that the regular variants of Vivo X21 have fingerprint sensor at the rear panel, only the special edition 128GB model has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
