Samsung is about to host an event in India on June 20, where the company is expected to launch its Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. It is the successor to the Galaxy Tab 2. The device was first launched at the MWC Expo this year. The Galaxy Tab S3 will compete with Apple iPad Pro. It will be made available in two variants- a Wi-Fi only and other with Cellular support.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features S Pen Stylus support. The device is compatible with external keyboard attachment via pogo pins which turns the tablet into a laptop. However, the external keyboard accessory is not included in the package and need to be purchased separately. It has a front facing camera and has capacitive buttons for navigation at the front. Moreover, there is a physical home button which doubles as a fingerprint scanner. Additionally, Samsung Galaxy Tab series has never disappointed Tablet lovers.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3: Specifications
Coming to the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1536×2048 pixels. It sports an aspect ratio of 4:3 with support for HDR content playback. The device comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and external storage up to 256GB via microSD card.
On the camera front, the Galaxy Tab S3 offers a 13MP primary rear camera with auto-focus capabilities. At the front, it has a 5MP camera for video calling and selfies. The tablet is powered by a 6000mAh battery with fast charging feature. The company claims a battery life of up to 12 months on the device. The connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the cellular connectivity variant comes with LTE Cat.6 support with speeds up to 300mbps.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS powered by TouchWiz UX. On the right edge, there is a power button and volume rocker. Lastly, the tablet has four speakers setup and among them, two are positioned at the top and two are at the bottom. Also, there is a 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port on the bottom edge.
