Samsung is reportedly working on a mid-range smartphone under the C series, named as Samsung Galaxy C9. The smartphone was spotted recently on Indian import-export site Zauba. Now several reports are claiming that Samsung is planning to launch the upcoming Galaxy C9 smartphone within the next two months, probably in between October and November.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 was listed on Zauba with model number SM-C9000. The smartphone listed with a 5.7-inch display and was priced at Rs 17,107. Though the Zauba listing did not disclose further details. It was believed that Samsung’s new C series smartphone will carry a model number SM-C9000 and will be code named as ‘Amy’.
As per Zauba listing, the aforementioned smartphone was imported into the country for testing purpose. So it is indicating that the Samsung Galaxy C9 may arrive in India soon.
Previously, the Galaxy C9 smartphone was reported on SamMobile. The report has claimed that the upcoming smartphone with model number SM-C9000, codenamed as ‘Amy’ is expected to be the Galaxy C9. The report had also claimed the upcoming device will be featured with a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display which was earlier seen in Galaxy A9.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 is expected to feature a 5.7 or 6.0-inch Super AMOLED display having a 1080p resolution and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. The device might feature a 4GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage space. It is believed that the upcoming mobile phone will have hardware specifications and features similar to the other phones of the series.
Samsung launched the C series of smartphone back in May this year, with the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7. Both these smartphones are yet to be launched in India. The Galaxy C5 was launched in China with a 5.2-inch display at a price of CNY 2200 (roughly Rs 22,000) and Galaxy C7 with a 5.7 display at the price of CNY 2599 (roughly Rs 26,000).
