Since the start of 2019, Samsung has been in the news because of its mid-range ‘A’ series smartphones. The brand recently launched its Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 smartphones. However, that’s not all! Samsung will soon launch another set of smartphones namely – Galaxy 40, Galaxy 60 and Galaxy 90. Recently, the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A60 smartphone appeared online, giving us an idea on what to expect from the smartphone.
Earlier, this smartphone was speculated to be a toned-down variant of the previously launched Galaxy A8s. The smartphone already has a confirmed launch date and will make its debut on April 19, 2019. Just like all the other launched ‘A’ series smartphones, even the Galaxy A60 will come with aggressive specifications and an affordable price tag. It is safe to say that it will be one of the mobile phones below 30000. It will most probably be priced somewhere around Rs 25,000 in India.
Samsung Galaxy A60: Specifications
Given above is a schematic layout of how the Galaxy A60 smartphone might look like. According to the image, the smartphone will come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Additionally, the display will sport an Infinity-U notch which will house the front camera. On the rear panel, the smartphone is seen with a triple camera setup. The camera setup will include a 32-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
Similarly, the image of the front panel reveals that the Samsung Galaxy A60 smartphone houses an amazing 32-megapixel camera. As there is no fingerprint sensor visible on the front or the rear panel, we can expect the Galaxy A60 to be one of the in display fingerprint sensor mobile phones. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm processor with the model number SM6150. On the storage end, this smartphone will be available in 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants. Both the variants will be coupled with 128GB internal storage.
Furthermore, the smartphone will run on the latest Android 9 Pie operating system. And, it will be fuelled with a powerful 4500mAh battery. However, as of now, there is no confirmation if Samsung Galaxy A60 will be one of the quick charging mobile phones. But, seeing that Galaxy A50 got the feature, we can expect the same on the Galaxy A60 as well.
