Since the start of 2019, Samsung has brought to us various mid-range smartphones. At the beginning of the year, the company introduced its ‘M’ series of smartphones. Now, the company has also introduced a new Range of ‘A’ series smartphones in the Indian market. Samsung launched three new smartphones today namely – Samsung Galaxy A50, Samsung Galaxy A30 and Samsung Galaxy A10. All these smartphones come with amazing specifications and an affordable price range. Additionally, all the smartphones will run on the Android 9 Pie OS and will support shooting modes such as Hyperlapse, Ultra-Wide and Slow-Mo. Out of the three smartphones, Galaxy A50 is the most high-end flagship model. Here’s a look at features and specifications of these smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A50: Specifications & Price
The flagship smartphone of the series comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The smartphone will also sport an infinity-U notch on the display. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9610 processor. Furthermore, users will get the option to choose among a 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and a 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant.
For photography, Samsung Galaxy A50 features a triple rear camera setup. Just like all the other triple camera mobile phones even this phone will include a primary sensor, a depth sensor and an ultra-wide sensor. The triple setup camera includes – 25MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the other end, the front panel will only feature a single 25MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy A50 is one of the big battery mobile phones which features a large 4000mAh battery. Additionally, the smartphone will also support USB Type-C port along with 15W fast charging. The front display will also house the in display fingerprint scanner.
Price: Galaxy A50 will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants in India. The 4GB RAM variant will come with a price tag of Rs 19,990. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM variant will come with a price tag of Rs 22,990. A lot of mobile phones below 30000 these days are featuring 6GB RAM under the hood. Lastly, the colour variants will include Blue, White and Black options. It will be made available in India starting March 2, 2019.
Samsung Galaxy A30: Specifications & Price
The second smartphone that Samsung announced was the Galaxy A30. This smartphones comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Even the Galaxy A30 smartphone will get an infinity-U notch on the display. As for the processor, the smartphone is fuelled by an octa-core Exynos 7904 SoC. Samsung Galaxy A30 will be available in a single 4GB RAM variant with 64GB internal storage.
On the camera end, the smartphone will support a dual camera on the rear panel. The dual camera setup will include a 16MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. Similarly, on the front, the smartphone will house a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. Like most fingerprint scanner mobile phones, Samsung Galaxy will sport the fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. The battery capacity & features on the smartphone will be the same as Galaxy A50.
Price: The Samsung Galaxy A30 smartphone will be made available in a single 4GB RAM variant. It will come with a price tag of Rs 16,990. Colour variant options will include Red, Blue and Black. Even this smartphone will be available starting March 2, 2019.
Samsung Galaxy A10: Specifications & Price
Now, coming to the most affordable smartphone of the series – Samsung Galaxy A10. This smartphone will sport a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. Unlike the other two notched display mobile phones, the front display of this smartphone will feature an Infinity-V notch. Under the hood, it will be powered by Exynos 7882 processor. It will be packed with 2GB of RAM along with 32GB internal storage. Seeing that it is one of the 2GB RAM mobile phones, it will be suitable only for basic everyday usage.
For camera, the Samsung Galaxy A10 will house a single 13MP camera on the rear along with f/1.9 aperture. Likewise, the front panel will also feature a single 5MP camera paired with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is further fuelled by a 3400mAh battery. While this smartphone does not get a fingerprint scanner, it is one the face unlock mobile phones.
Price: The Samsung Galaxy A10 smartphone will be made available in a single 2GB RAM variant. It will come with a price tag of Rs 8,490. Colour variant options will include Red, Blue and Black. As for the launch date, the smartphone will be available in India from March 20, 2019.
