Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A7 (2017) Spotted on Benchmark

Samsung is believed to be working on the successor of it’s A series of smartphones. While the rumors have already started surfacing on the internet, the assumed Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) have been spotted on GFXBench by Gadgetox. Additionally, the leaked renders of Galaxy A8 (2016) has also surfaced on the internet.

As per the GFXBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) is expected to feature a 4.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It will be powered by 1.5GHz octa-core processor paired with ARM Mali T830 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. The storage space can be expanded using microSD card as well. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.

On the camera front, the Galaxy A3 (2017) will have a 12MP primary rear camera with auto-focus and flash. For selfies, the device will also have a 7MP front camera. The cameras of Galaxy A3 (2017) are supposed to support full HD video recording. For connectivity, the device will have 4G, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Sensors on board will include an accelerometer, barometer, compass, proximity, pedometer, and gyroscope.

While the Galaxy A7 (2017) is supposed to feature a larger Super AMOLED HD display of 5.5-inch with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. The smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 1.8GHz octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

The Galaxy A7 (2017) will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. For imaging, the smartphone will have both front and rear camera of 15-megapixels resolution which will support the full HD video recording. For connectivity, the device will support Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, FM Radio, and microUSB port. Sensors on board will include fingerprint, proximity, accelerometer, and compass.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) is yet to be released in India while the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A7 (2017) Spotted on Benchmarkwere launched in the Indian market for Rs 33,400 and Rs 29,400 respectively. The prices of these smartphones were dropped to Rs 26,900 and Rs 21,900 respectively, later on.
