Recently a new smartphone called Oppo A71 (2018) was launched in Pakistan which is the successor to the Oppo A71 handset. The Chinese mobile maker has now introduced the same device in India at a price tag of Rs 9,990. The phone is already up for sale on leading online stores in India.
To recall, the Oppo A71 was launched in India at Rs 12,990. Last month, the company offered the A71 smartphone for as low as Rs 9,999 in India. The new Oppo A71 (2018) is presently available for purchase via Flipkart and it is said to appear on Amazon and Snapdeal for sale very soon. The phone comes in Black and Gold colour options.

The latest Oppo mobile in India comes with upgrades in the camera department. The new phone has an AI Beauty Recognition technology which is said to have a global image database that beautifies the key features of a face. Furthermore, the front-camera can add Bokeh effect on selfies using the built-in smart arithmetic optimisation. This optimisation is said to have the ability to distinguish foreground subjects.
In addition, there is an Ultra HD technology alongside Multi-Frame Denoising Technology. Using these technologies, the users can render photographs up to 32-megapixel resolution. For achieving such higher resolution, the camera takes multiple consecutive pictures and then combines them into a single image.
Oppo A71 (2018): Specifications
Coming to the specifications, the Oppo A71 (2018) model comes with a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) TFT display. The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS powered by ColorOS 3.2. The phone comes equipped with a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor which is paired with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and external storage of up to 256GB via microSD card.
It is worth mentioning that the device has a dedicated microSD card slot. Like mentioned above, the Oppo A71 (2018) was earlier launched at Pakistan with 2GB RAM option.
For photography, there is a single 13MP camera sensor on the rear with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. Also, there is a 5MP selfie snapper on the device which offers f/2.4 aperture. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, micro USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The sensor onboard includes a proximity sensor, accelerometer, e-compass, and ambient light sensor. A 3000mAh battery completes the package.
