Without much elaboration and trumpet show, Micromax has listed a new smartphone on its website, called the Micromax Selfie 2. The price of this smartphone is yet not revealed anywhere. But as per the name, Micromax seems to be focussing on the front snapper of the Selfie 2. It has an LED flash and delivers bokeh-like effect.

Coming to the specifications, the Micromax Selfie 2 offers an 8MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX135 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. The handset supports One Touch Shot feature to capture quick selfies. It also has a Beauty Mode for getting perfect selfies.
Though the site doesn’t mention, the Micromax Selfie 2 seems to feature a 5.5-inch display. It is powered by a 1.35GHz MediaTek MediaTek MT6737 quad-core SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD card. The device packs a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box.

The smartphone also boasts a 13MP primary rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Auto Scene Detection, OV8856 sensor, and Panorama mode. The device also features a unique SuperPixel image mode which allows users to take photographs with as much as 5,200 megapixels. The handset supports multi window support, doze mode, reply in the notification panel, and quick settings option.
The smartphone has been backed by 100 days replacement guarantee scheme. Herein, Micromax gives a word to substitute the smartphone with the same or equivalent model in the first 100 days beginning from the date of activation of the device in case of any damage. The company announced the 100 days replacement earlier in July. It is inclusive of one year of total warranty period also.

According to the images on the official website of Micromax, the smartphone will sport a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner separated from the rear camera with LED flash in between. The smartphone features the antenna band running across the top and bottom chin of the metal unibody. It is assumed that the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right-hand side of the smartphone.
