Meizu mobiles is reportedly gearing up for the launch event of its upcoming mobiles on October 31. While it is highly rumored that the company might reveal its Pro 6s smartphone at the event, the recently leaked Meizu M5 smartphone could get unveiled at the event as well.
The news of Meizu M5’s launch was raised when Meizu’s VP Li Nan responded to a user’s comment. This hints out that the upcoming mobile could get released soon. Recently, the alleged M5 Smartphone was listed on Geekbench along with several images.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Meizu M5 is expected to feature a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It will boast a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. It is expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, while some leaked live image suggested a YunOS 5.1.1 on M5 as well.
The Meizu M5 is expected to offer a 13MP primary rear camera with popular camera features.
On the other hand, the Meizu Pro 6s is expected to be an improved version of the existing Meizu Pro 6 smartphone. The upcoming mobile has recently cleared the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC). Based on the rumors, the Pro 6s is expected to boast a capsule-shaped Home button which will sport an integrated fingerprint sensor.
The Meizu Pro 6s is expected to feature a full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display along with a MediaTek MT6796 deca-core processor, 4GB of RAM and Mali T880 GPU. The device is expected to come with 64GB of internal storage and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The Pro 6s Smartphone has recently appeared on Geekbench which revealed some key specifications. It was listed on Geekbench with a codename ‘alps M92’.
Looking at the specifications of Meizu M5, the upcoming mobile could face competition with likes of Xiaomi Redmi 3, Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy J5 to name a few. On the other hand, the Meizu Pro 6s will compete with OnePlus 3, Oppo F1 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy C5 to name a few.
