The Chinese smartphone maker, Meizu seems to be geared up for a new smartphone called as M4. Meizu mobiles launched the M3 Max smartphone in China last month and now is reportedly working on Meizu M4. While the company hasn’t put a word about this smartphone, the alleged upcoming mobile has been spotted on TENAA certification.
The TENAA listing was spotted by GizmoChina via a Weibo user. The exact device name of the upcoming mobile is still unknown; however, it is believed to be the Meizu M4. The Weibo user has mentioned that the upcoming mobile will feature a metallic body. A dedicated fingerprint sensor will be missing on the upcoming mobile, but it could come embedded in the physical home button.
The TENAA listing also included two images of Meizu M4 which feature a metallic body which looks quite similar to its rivals Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 as well as Mi 5 in some extents. The rear panel of the device seems very much like Redmi Note 3 while, the front panel looks similar to Mi 5. The Weibo user has revealed the expected price of the Meizu M4 around 899 Yuan, which roughly indicates Rs 8,900. No further information about the upcoming mobile is present yet.
The Meizu M4 is not the only smartphone device which the company has been working; rumors about the Meizu Pro 6S and Pro 7 are also coming. The Meizu Pro 6S had recently cleared the TENAA certification with model number M570Q-S.
The Meizu Pro 6S will feature a 5.2-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display. The upcoming mobile will come with a metal unibody design and will be bundled with mCharge 3.0 charger. The other specifications of the Meizu Pro 6S are yet to be revealed. The Pro 6S is expected to be the improved variant of the Meizu Pro 6 that was released earlier this year. The smartphone is expected to come equipped with upgraded Exynos chipset from its predecessor.
