If this happens, it will be beginning of the next e-commerce war and Amazon India will be the biggest adversary to Flipkart. Amid this, the mega summer sales are hitting the Indian online stores. Both Flipkart and Amazon will host their summer sale offer in May.

In addition, they both have acquired about 70-80 percent of their usual inventory for general sales. Moreover, the reports suggest that these e-commerce companies have stocked up as much inventory as they regularly do for the annual sale taken during Diwali season.
