LG Electronics has recently unveiled a Signature Edition smartphone model exclusively in South Korea. The new model will be offered in Black and White colour options. As it is a limited edition, the buyers can ask for having their names engraved on the rear panel of the device. The LG Signature Edition model is built on a Zirconium Ceramic shell which is claimed to be scratch-proof.

Coming to the pricing, the latest LG mobile costs at KRW 2,000,000 (roughly Rs 1,18,000). Citing the source, the price details are shared by ZDNet via a report.

The LG Signature Edition is essentially the premium version of this year’s flagship, the LG V30. The hardware of both phones resembles with one another. The only difference is the top-notch build on Signature Edition. To recall, the LG V30 was launched at IFA event back in August this year.

Coming to the specifications, the LG Signature Edition smartphone boasts a 6-inch OLED FullVision Quad HD+ (1440×2880 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen offers 538ppi pixel density. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 6GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and external storage of up to 2TB via microSD card slot.

On the imaging front, the LG Signature Edition offers a dual camera setup at the rear which includes a 16MP primary lens with f/1.6 aperture combined with a 13MP wide-angle lens with f/1.9 aperture. The former lens is a 71-degree crystal clear lens, whereas the latter is a 120-degree lens.

 

Up front, there is a selfie snapper of 5MP resolution with a 90-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. The handset is powered by a B&O audio tech and has a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC.

The latest LG mobile runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS. It has the unique LG Pay feature pre-loaded on it. The device is powered by a 3300mAh battery which has support for the Qi wireless charging. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0 with BLE, NFC, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C 3.1, and USB Type-C 2.0.

It is worth mentioning that the LG Signature Edition smartphone is exclusively available in the South Korean market and the chances of getting the phone are India is very less. However, the company might release India exclusive version of the phone to make a mark in Indian premium smartphone space.
