Lenovo has recently launched three new smartphones- Lenovo S5, K5 and K5 Play in China. The company has also unveiled a new hybrid smartwatch alongside these smartphones. This watch has all features of a modern smartwatch and offers amazing looks of an analogue watch. The new Lenovo Watch 9 hybrid smartwatch is priced at CNY 129 (roughly Rs 1,299).
The new Lenovo Watch 9 is built from a premium Sapphire glass which is said to be sturdy. The device has 9H hardness rating. The company claims that the hybrid smartwatch is waterproof and it can resist water up to 50 meters. There is a silicone strap and stainless steel chassis. As mentioned before, the Lenovo Watch 9 is priced at CNY 129, so, this could be the cheapest Hybrid Smartwatch available as of now.
The Lenovo Watch 9 Hybrid Smartwatch doesn’t have a dedicated display; however, you can connect your smartphone to the watch and access its data via a dedicated application. Though it is a budget hybrid smartwatch, you will get many features of a regular smartwatch on it. The wearable vibrates when you receive notifications or set alarms.
You can remotely capture selfies on your smartphone simply by shaking the watch. Apart from this, the smartwatch can track fitness data such as step counts, calories burnt, sleep monitoring and a few other information. Due to its water-resistant features, the Lenovo Watch 9 can be used even while swimming.
The Lenovo Watch 9 hybrid smartwatch is compatible with Android smartphones as well as iOS devices. It will be offered in Black and White colour options. The device is touted to have 12 months of battery life on a single charge. The wearable will be made available purchasing in China from March 23.
Like mentioned before, Lenovo has launched three smartphones with Watch 9. The S5, K5, and K5 Play, all three features a 5.7-inch full-screen display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Among these, the S5 handset boasts a full HD+ display, while the K5-series has HD+ displays.
