Lenovo has introduced a bunch of new laptops to its ThinkPad family in India. This time, the company has launched a refreshed version of its ThinkPad X1 along with the inclusion of new models in the ThinkPad X, ThinkPad L, and ThinkPad T series of laptops. The new range includes Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad X1 Yoga, ThinkPad X280, ThinkPad X380 Yoga, and ThinkPad T480s laptops to name a few. The latest notebooks are powered by 8th Generation Intel Core processors.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon: All you need to know
The most notable laptop among the newly launched laptops is the ThinkPad X1 Carbon. The company touts the new notebook as the ‘world’s lightest 14-inch business laptop’. To keep the weight of this device to the lowest, Lenovo has used a lightweight chassis which is built using advanced carbon fibre composite. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon was launched in February this year at the CES 2018 trade show along with X1 Yoga and X1 Carbon Tablet.
You can choose from full HD IPS to Full HD IPS with touch display options. Furthermore, you can get WQHD IPS to WQHD IPS HDR with Dolby Vision. The laptop comes with 8th Generation processors and you can choose up to Intel Core i7 with vPro. Moreover, there is Intel UHD 620 graphics and up to 16GB LPDDR3 RAM. On the storage department, the notebooks have the configuration of up to 1TB of PCIe SSD storage.
For privacy protection, the laptop has a physical webcam cover called ThinkShutter is provided on a 720p HD camera of the device. Also, an IR camera is offered on the notebook that supports eye-tracking and facial recognition features. On the connectivity front, the device has two USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, two Intel Thunderbolt 3 ports, an HDMI port, 3-in-1 microSD card reader, Ethernet port, and a headphone cum microphone combo jack.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon comes with a 57Wh integrated battery which is claimed to deliver back up of up to 19.3 hours and has support for the RapidCharge technology.
