Kodak has launched a new 4K 50UHDXSMART LED TV in India, by brand licensee Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd (SSPL). The first time SSPL had launched a Kodak LED TV was back in August 2016. Since then, the company has launched various Smart HD, FHD and 4K UHD TVs in India. The latest 50-inch 4K LED Smart TV comes within a price range that makes it a tough competitor for the recently launched Mi TV 4 range and Vu Android TV series.
Kodak 50UHDX 4K LED Smart TV: Price & Specifications
The Kodak 50UHDX Smart TV is priced at Rs. 34,999 and is exclusively available on e-commerce giant Flipkart. The latest 50-inch Kodak TV measures 1100x640x110mm and weigh 11.6kg. Furthermore, the display comes with a screen resolution of 3840×2160 pixels display and has various connectivity options.
It comes with a dual-core 1.4GHz processor paired with the Mali-T720 GPU. For storage, the Kodak 4K LED Smart TV comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. On connectivity end, the TV includes options like LAN, Wi-Fi, Miracast and a couple of other preloaded apps such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Gmail. The UHD (Ultra High Definition) panel in the TV provides content with brightness up to 500-nits.
As for the audio, the TV features a dual-speaker system with two 10W speakers. Additionally, the TV also comes with two USB ports, three HDMI ports and a 60Hz standard refresh rate for better motion. The TV supports audio formats such as WMA, WMV, ASF, MP4, MPG, MPEG, VRO, VOB, FLV, MP2 and MP3.
The Kodak 50UHDX 4K LED Smart TV has made its appearance in the Indian markets soon after Xiaomi announced its first 4K TV in the country. Xiaomi’s Mi TV 4 is priced at 39,999, which is comparatively priced higher than Kodak’s latest 4K LED Smart TV. Also, Vu launched its latest Android TV series recently. Sporting a similar budget, these new TVs will go against each other in the Indian television market.
