HTC Bolt Might Get Launched as HTC 10 Evo Globally

While HTC is expected to launch its HTC Bolt smartphone which is Sprint exclusive in the US market, new rumors are claiming that the unlocked variant of the smartphone could get launched with the name HTC 10 Evo in global markets.

Recently, famous leakster Evan Blass has posted a tweet indicating that the company will market the HTC Bolt smartphone as the HTC 10 Evo in the global markets. The alleged HTC Bolt/HTC 10 Evo smartphone was certified by FCC in last week with a model number 2PYB200.

If the leaked renders of the HTC Bolt/HTC 10 Evo are to be believed, the upcoming mobile has ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack following the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It will be the first smartphone from HTC to omit the 3.5mm headphone jack from its device. After Apple, smartphone makers like LeEco and Motorola also removed the 3.5mm jack from their flagship smartphone devices. Considering this, the upcoming mobiles could adapt the developing trend. However, the consumers will surely need some time to get used to such change.
