After a long wait and anticipation, GST rollout has begun. It has brought many changes in the market. Of all, Apple has made everyone happy by slashing the prices of its iPhones, Macs and Apple Watch in India.
Right from 1st July, the day GST was launched, Apple iPhones officially got a price-cut from the company which has gone live on the official Apple website.
In addition to this, Apple’s new 10.5-inch iPad Pro, iPad and iPad Mini 4 have got their prices slashed as well.
Impact of GST on Apple iPhone prices
Apple iPhone 7 that was launched at Rs. 60,000 is now available at Rs. 56, 200. The other variants as 128GB and 256GB amount to Rs. 65,200 and Rs. 74,400 as against the original price of Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 80,000 respectively.

Apple iPhone 7 Plus (32GB) is now priced at Rs. 67,300 as opposed to Rs. 72,000 previously. The 128GB model costs Rs. 76,200 (launch price: Rs. 82,000) and 256GB at Rs. 85,400 (original price: Rs. 92,000).
The variants of Apple iPhone 6S Plus are priced as- 32GB at Rs. 56,100 (original price: 60,000), 128GB at Rs. 65,000 (originally priced at: Rs. 70,000).
The 32GB and 128GB variants of iPhone 6s are now available at Rs. 46,900 and Rs. 55, 900 respectively as opposed to Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 60,000 previously.
iPhone SE 32GB and 128GB models now come at Rs. 26,000 and Rs. 35,000 respectively, against their original prices of Rs. 27,200 and Rs. 37,200.
Impact of GST on Apple iPad prices
Apple’s new 10.5-inch iPad Pro WiFi models in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB after GST can be bought at Rs. 50,800, Rs. 58, 300 and Rs. 73,900 as against Rs. 52,900, Rs. 60,900 and Rs. 76,900 respectively.
Apple 10.5-inch iPad Pro WiFi+Cellular 64GB, 256GB and 512GB models are priced at Rs. 61,400, Rs. 68,900 and Rs. 84, 500 respectively. These were originally launched at Rs. 63,900, Rs. 71,900 and Rs. 87, 900 respectively.
The same applies to Apple 12.9-inch iPad Pro. The 256GB and 512GB WiFi variants were launched at Rs. 73,900 and Rs. 89,900 respectively. But with GST, the prices have dropped down to Rs. 70,900 and Rs. 86,400 respectively.
The WiFi+Cellular models of the same were originally unveiled at Rs. 76,900 (64GB), Rs. 84,900 (256GB), and Rs. 1,00, 900 (512GB) are now priced at Rs. 74,100 (64GB), Rs. 81, 400 (256GB), and Rs. 97, 000 (512GB) respectively.
The iPad models of 32GB and 128GB variants are now available at Rs. 28,000 and Rs. 35,700 respectively. Earlier they were priced at Rs. 28,900 and Rs. 36,900 respectively. On the other hand, the WiFi+Cellular iPad in 32GB and 128GB options are priced at Rs. 38,600 and Rs. 46, 300 respectively as opposed to the original prices of Rs. 39,900 and Rs. 47, 900.
Apple iPad Mini 4 (128GB) WiFi and WiFi+Cellular models are now priced at Rs.33, 800 and Rs. 44,500 respectively. Earlier, it was priced at Rs. 34,900 and Rs. 45,900 respectively.
