Gionee had launched the S6 Pro smartphone in China in June this year. And now, the company has launched the Gionee S6 Pro smartphone in India at a price of Rs 23,999. Furthermore, the company has also launched its first VR headset in India priced at Rs 2,499. The Gionee S6 Pro smartphone will be made available from October 1 through offline stores in Rose Gold and Gold color options.
The Chinese smartphone maker has launched the latest mobile Gionee S6s smartphone in India priced at Rs 17,999. The S6 Pro features almost similar specifications as of the S6s smartphone but why there’s heavy price difference in between these two smartphones is not cleared yet. Moreover, the device was launched in China for CNY 1999 which roughly indicates around Rs 20,000.
The Gionee S6 Pro sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with a 2.5D glass design on top. The device gets its power from a MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 processor clocked at the speed of 1.8GHz together with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
On the camera front, the Gionee S6 Pro offers a 13MP primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF support. While for selfies, the S6 Pro has an 8MP front camera. The rear camera of the latest mobile features popular camera functions like HDR, night mode, GIF, burst mode, panorama, full HD video recording, and others. The device has a 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The new Gionee S6 Pro comes with connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, 3G/2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, USB OTG and Wi-Fi hotspot. The device is powered by a 3130mAh battery which is claimed to deliver a talk time of 39 hours and standby time of 558 hours. The device measures dimensions at 153×75.2×7.6mm and weighs 170 grams.
